Three easy answers.

Thank you for the incredible support and enthusiasm you’ve shown for Fallen Frontier so far. To a small developer like Moonshot, it means the world to see gamers get excited about our game. We’re looking forward to hearing your hands-on impressions at PAX this weekend.

Meanwhile, let’s answer the three most frequently asked questions right away:

1. What’s the release date?
We are aiming for the first half of 2012, so still a good year out. Fallen Frontier is a big “small” game! We have a lot of work to do between now and releasing the game.

2. Does Fallen Frontier have a publisher?
Not yet.

3. What platforms is Fallen Frontier being developer for?
We’d love to release Fallen Frontier on Steam, XBLA, and PSN. That said, a final decision on platforms is usually made with a publishing partner. That’ll be the case for Fallen Frontier as well.

BAM! Mike, our artist, will have some sweet art to share with you tomorrow. Don’t miss it. Hit that RSS button right now. Better yet, follow us. Dare we even say like us?

    2012 ?
FUCK. I hope this means it will be a 10 hours long, bug-free, kickass, old-school gameplay AND old-school difficulty game.
I just love the art style and now I have huge expectations for this game (doesn’t make sense, I know).

Saw the Jobs page, and it’s 2 Engineer positions. Are you guys thinking about hiring regular artists soon, or have no plans for that until the end of the project?

Best of luck guys! We need more small teams bringing interesting fun games to the market. The trailer looks promising and I look forward to playing it early 2012.

That game looks amazing! Can’t wait to play it, I’ll be getting it on Steam and PSN if that’s where you release. Also, have you considered releasing on Desura? It is like Steam but for indie devs. Just throwing that out there, as I use it all the time, and it has a community that would probably be interested.
