Welcome to the Fallen Frontier!

Fallen Frontier Logo
Moonshot Games invites you to experience Fallen Frontier, a 2D sidescrolling shooter offering fast-paced tactical combat, vast interconnected worlds, and an original hard sci-fi universe. Using firearms, grenades, and various special abilities, you’ll confront, confound, and conquer your enemies. Fallen Frontier features both single player and co-operative play and leverages the very best design principles learned in our years at Bungie.

Our story follows a jaded lawman from Earth, arriving at the frontier worlds of Alpha Centauri on a mission of vengeance. Events unfold as an engaging film noir style mystery, and the hero quickly comes to realize that in this brave new world, nothing is quite as it seems.

Look nice! Really amazing backgrounds and atmosphere. Been waiting for your announcement. Is it more similar to a “metroidvania” style game or a linear action-adventure game? Either way I’m looking forward to it.

Hey, I’ve watched you announcement trailer, and I’m really looking forward for this game. I don’t normally purchase XBLA games, but Shadow Complex was an exception, and the same can be said for this game. Looks excellent. And after all you’re ex-Bungie employees, you must be good, right? Right. :)

Some mentioned this was a flash based game, if so it looks great for flash.

Looks very very similar to Abuse, from the DOS days if anyone here remembers. I hope there are powerups and areas to explore a la Super Metroid.

Magnissimo ! Seems like an improved version of Contra, with much better graphics & gameplay.

Immediately thought of Abuse when I saw this. I hope this game proves challenging.

I have to admit, this game looks amazing, However I have concerns about lack of depth. What really differentiates this game for say, a flash based 2d scroller shooter that i can play free anywhere on the net?

Love 2D side-scrollers. I hope you’ve got some epic boss fights planned :P

Not a fan of being able to shoot in any direction though, prefer the old-school method. Would also prefer it if it came on a disc (collectors edition?). Regardless, I’ll be buying :]
